Happy New Year-New Lap Top means Back to Blogging!

Oh how I have missed blogging!
I still keep up on reading blogs but I have been a terrible blogger!
All excuses aside.....But I did spill a drink on my lap top and have just now replaced it!
So much has changed since I was last an avid blogger.
Shane and I are now living together and doing well!
We spent this Christmas with my family out of town this year! We had a great time and rocked the onesies!

Fitness and Diet wise I have been up and down. We have been on track for a while now and I was feeling amazing! But December 18 until today has been off track. Being out of town didn't help. A week of unusual diet, poor sleep, not enough exercise/water/vitamins and I was slammed New Years Day with the worst flu I can ever remember having.
Hopefully I will be somewhat back to normal by tomorrow so I can get back to myself!
This picture was taken December 6 2014......(135lbs)...Before the Holiday derailment! I am up a good 5 lbs and feel terrible!
Looking forward to catching up and seeing if any of my followers are still around!!!!

PB & J Quinoa and Look at my garden grow



Pre-Run Breakfast
Peanut Butter and Jam Breakfast Quinoa



Peanut Butter and Jam Breakfast Quinoa
Great alternative to Oatmeal
1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
2 Teaspoons PB2
1 Teaspoon Ground Flax/Chia Mix
1 Teaspoon Hemp Hearts
Combine together in pot on medium high heat
add
1/3 Cup COOKED quinoa
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
A couple drops liquid Stevia
Cook until desired consistence, stirring a lot
Top with 1 Tablespoon low sugar jam of choice (I used a organic black current jam)


SOOO Good! And So filling! I didn't even eat it all!
The weather here in the GTA has been yucky at best....Cold and Rainy
It is a bit breezy this morning but overall not too bad......I am going to go for a 5k run......I would like to do more but I lost so much cardio this winter I am increasing slowly. My longest run this year so far is only 8km.....sad
It is going to take a lot of hard work to get back.
I just couldn't stomach the treadmill much this winter....So instead I focused on weight training 3-5 times a week. So hence why my body feels like it wants to run faster and longer, just cardio wise I am not there yet...... sigh
