Today I had a
HSG Test done. Not fun but another step in attempts to have a baby. Especially not fun as there were some issues with one of the instruments malfunctioned and the test was much longer and hurt more then normal he said. Basically my tubes are open so that is great news but my Doctor said my Uterus is shaped "abnormally". Great. He wants me to have a 3D ultra sound ASAP to check it out. The test can only be done between day 21-25 so lucky enough tomorrow is day 25 and I made an appointment at the fertility clinic.
So as long as everything is ok tomorrow, if we aren't pregnant 3 months from now I will be starting fertility drugs. This is crazy. So draining emotionally. I try not to think of it daily just on the days like today when I have tests.
The bake sale was a huge success. 40 dozen cupcakes later!!!! I only made 3 different kinds this time and that worked a lot better. Danielle helped again..Thanks goodness!
A lot of people brought in a lot of great things for the sale! Delish....I won't do the final money count until Tuesday but I think we may have made about $1000.00 Not sure yet though.....

aaahh I'm drooling over those cupcakes right now!!
Those cupcakes look so pretty. You do a WONDERFUL job decorating.
They look so good! I know you are happy dancing seeing that scale hit 129!
The cupcakes look great! I'm curious about how your business is structured...where do you go to have your bake sales? And where do you get those plastic cupcake trays? (I'm curious because I love making cupcakes myself, and have done some as a little home-based business project - in Moscow - where there are no cupcakes!)
Have you watched DC Cupcakes or Cupcake Wars on TV?
I understand about the fertility stuff...your post reminded me that I had an HSG (and exploratory surgery, and fertility drugs, and IUI's...). After struggling with it all for a couple of years, we stopped short of IVF and adopted a little 15 month old girl from Russia. Six weeks after we got her, I got pregnant without assistance...crazy. (Now they're 7 and 9 years old!)
Hang in there...the fertility stuff is a nasty monthly rollercoaster, and unless you've been through it, it's hard to know how heart-wrenching it is.
You'll get your family. You will - even when you're frustrated and depressed, don't give up hope. And send me an e-mail if you ever want to chat about it.
