I got up early.....drank some water and a coffee and I had a chocolate cherry smoothie bowl it was so good ...... about 1.5 hours before I left.
I left around 11am.....I think I should have brought more water with me though.
I was so excited to get out and run-I had some new music on my MP3 player and off I went! I had no intention of running a PR I just wanted to have a nice run.It was 20C (68F) 73% humidity.....a few clouds.......other then the damn wind it was perfect.
I had no running shirts clean ugh...so I just wore a tank top...that was the only annoying thing..... My knees were achie from about 8-12k. about 12k in then I got a weird pain in my left shoulder.My stomach also was a bit crampy from 14k on, hope that doesn't happen on next Sunday. But other then that it was a good run! LOL...doesn't sound like it, but it was a good run!
I finished the 17.5 K (10.9 miles) in 1hr 42min...Not fantastic but ok. I want to finish the race next weekend (running it with my dad) in less then 2 hrs. I am sure we will.
I iced my knees
and had a delish mushroom and spinach omelet with avocado, salsa and Greek yogurt....
I bought (well will be picking it up this weekend) my bffer Kelly and running stroller! She is very excited to use it.......
It is new never used....off kijiji for a great price.....
Now I am off to see Kelly and my goddaughter Eva
Can't wait to see her cute face!
We are going to make some Red Velvet Cupcakes for her MIL to try to see if she wants them for her daughters wedding shower-Can't believe that she has never had a Red Velvet Cupcake!!!!
Off to enjoy the sunshine!!!!
